2013 FICA rate is back to 6.2 will the extra line in Processing Option 3 on program P067011 be remo

Q: Back in 2011 and 2012, the government gave out tax break for FICA.  Taxation integrity Program P067011 was modified to add an extra option under processing option 3 in this program to accommodate the different tax rate for FICA.  Currently, there is no FICA tax break rate for 2013, will this extra processing option be eliminate and the integrity program be put back to the way it was prior to all this tax break on this integrity report program P067011?

A: Due to the uncertainty that the government might change the rate in the future and it take time to do the programming changes, this extra line on processing 3 in program P067011 to accommodate different FICA rate on will remain in this program for now.  You can populate 6.2 on both lines employee/employers rate in processing option 3 on this integrity report program P067011 to avoid error 0116 Social Security tax mis-match.
