Repair Type Update

Hello All,

In R12 there is a new feature called Repair type update. in Tools if we can click on update repair type and based on our setups we can change the repair type.

We have scenario on repair type update and would like to know more from others if they have workaround for this

Scenario:

Create a RO with type Repair and Return

Receive the item.

Install base updated to " Returned for Repair"

When Repair Technician got to know that item cannot be repaired and needs an exchange

under tools change the repair type from Repair and Return to Exchange
