Hi,

We are having performance issues on some of our database servers.

The SAN team want to the know the optimum setting for queue depth setting for the HBA card.

Currently i see the following setting:

# echo "sd_max_throttle/D" |mdb -k
sd_max_throttle:
sd_max_throttle:256

BUt, I dont see max_throttle values set in /etc/system file, question is where is the above command picking up the values ? Is the Queue depth set ?

The HBA card vendor is Qlogic.

# luxadm -e port
/devices/pci@0,600000/pci@0/pci@8/pci@0,1/SUNW,qlc@1/fp@0,0:devctl  CONNECTED
/devices/pci@0,600000/pci@0/pci@9/SUNW,qlc@0/fp@0,0:devctl

Howdy, Stranger!
