AutoPatch error:Buffer too small to get AD_APPS_JDBC_URL value while applying 16017029

Hi,
Customer is applying AR patch 16017029 and it failed with following errors.

AutoPatch error:
Buffer too small to get AD_APPS_JDBC_URL value

AutoPatch error:
Failed getting JDBC Thin Driver connection string

AutoPatch error:
Error getting cached JDBC DB Address value

AutoPatch error:
Unable to evaluate arguments of driver file line

From adpatch log, he aborted the patch once before even though he was not getting errors and then started the patch again.
