Importing Merged Customer records from Legacy Systems

Hi,

We have a requirement to import the merged customer records from legacy system and merge the same in the Oracle.

1.Customer A & B are imported from legacy system and created in Oracle.
2.Now Customer A is merged with Customer B in the legacy system.
3.Now we need to update these customer merge in Oracle.Manually we can merge them in Oracle Receivables.

I believe by using API we can import the merged records and merge the existing customer records.Can we do it through standard customer interface?
