Defining default routings to service codes based on Item category

Hi,

While trying to create a service code with a default Routing (No Bill of Material), I'm not able to select the recently created Routing (It does not appear in the dropdown). Completed the following steps -

Created an Item 'REPAIR WORK'

Created a Routing with Standard Operations

10 Physical Damage Check

20 repair

30 QA

There are no material requirement and hence no BOM was defined. How can I use this routing as a default routing for all the items that go through repair cycle? Please let me know if anyone has faced similar issue.
