Material status control not working for a LOT controlled item

Hello Gurus,

I have set up two material statuses 1) New 2) Secondhand enabled for Subinventory, Locator, LOT and Serial. Now i have defined a LOT controlled item with default LOT status as NEW. I am now performing the miscellaneous receipt of this LOT controlled item but i could not find the place i can enter the Material Status.

Please help if i am missing anything. Uploading the step by step screenshot of the process for your referenece.
