NIC failure detected on e1000g0 of group ...

We have two Solaris SPARC clusters running Sun Cluster, each made of two servers. The first cluster is on T2000 servers. The second cluster is on T5220 servers.Lately, we experienced two events, 5 days apart,  where both clusters were disconnected from the network. When using the serial connection we found the NICs in a failed status.
These two clusters are in the same sub-network with following IPs, but are not related, other than the fact they are running an application each with a different version. Basically we are about to cutover from the T2000 to the T5220 cluster.
Each server in a cluster is connected to a different switch for redundancy.
