Problem with Unmerge UCM function.

Hello everyone,

I have a customer who is delaying the go-live because of the following reason--

"The Unmerge is working fine for new records, however, what is observed after the Unmerge (this is also happening on Contacts and Account Addresses too) is that the RelationTypeCode on the S_CON_ADDR is being reset to 'ContactPointUsage', whereas previously there may have been a 'Home' or 'Business' value.”

Does anybody have any explanation as to why this is happening or how it can be stopped?  Customer is in 8.1.1.8 SIA.
