The Application allow to make Journals of type "Budget" with a period closed
Hi Everybody,
We are a government dependency and we have installed the E-Business Suite R12.1.1 since 2012 .. We are starting our operations in this fiscal year, but we have detected a several problem into application, specificaly in General Ledger because the application allows to make Journals of type "Budget" still when the period was closed.
i.e. We have closed the all periods of the last year (2012), Only we have opened the period of Dec-2012 ... We have a account xxx-xxx-xx-xxx-xx with an amount in the period Abr-2012 of $ 20.00 MXN ... When we do a journal of type "Budget" in the period closed ABRIL for the same amount $ 20,00 MXN, the applications create the Journal and allows posted this Journal. This is a problem for us.. because my understanding, is that having a period closed the application not should allow to post the Journal created.
