Custom Method (BIP report call) from Task based UI Task Playbar Applet - Bottom

 Experts,

                  I am trying to build a Task view to create a  Order and Quote .At the last step of task I am trying to have a generate button to call the BIP to generate the document , right now the BIP  call in regular view am making through a custom method and symbolic url, show pop up applet method ,  is it possible to add the same method in a "Task Playbar Applet - Bottom" ,is there any alternative solution to make this call from task based UI.

Its something very urgent and have lot of business values, please help me to provide me ideas, or solutions.
