FSG Reporting

Hi,I am new to FSG reporting.
I was reading the Oracle General ledger user guide about FSG but i was unable even to make 1 report
Does any one have a simple stepped document possibly with  examples on how to make FSG reports?
I want to technically start somewhere as i continue to explore to capability of FSG.
