OTL: Changing Timecard Approval Style
We want to change the timecard approver hierarchy from HR Supervisor Hierarchy to the Timecard Approver on the GRE and Other Info form on the assignment. I have attached screenshots because I may not express this clearly.
I have read about Approval Styles, and I do not think this Timecard Approver field on the GRE and Other Info form is really an approval style. Does this field have anything to do with timecard approvals, or is this field used only for information?
I think we can still do what is designed by using the formula mechanism to get the value from the Timecard Approver field. If we change the Approval Style Component to something else, will the new approval hierarchy automatically be reflected on the following two pages, or would we have to customize these pages to show anything other than the HR Supervisor hierarchy?
