Quality test inputs using preference masters

Quality preferences have been set-up to associate quality tests with specific items. One version of P3711 has been configured to use the Order format. A second version of P3711 has been configured to use the preference format. The preference criteria has been set-up for purchase order receipts and work order completions. However, when the "order" format is utilized, these test inputs are not invoked. Also, the "preference" format will not work when it is invoked from the menu. Are there any other configuration requirements that I have not mentioned? Thanks for your consideration. I need some help.
