Can i integrate Oracle Apex with Oracle Workflow when used within Oracle Applications

Hi,
I would like to integrate Oracle Apex with Oracle Workflow. Is that possible.

We are on R12.1.3 instance along with this instance we wanted to create a new application using Apex which will be integrated with Oracle Applications.
The requirement is that , we wanted to build a page for booking a parking place and if its a VIP parking , we need to get the Approval from the higher authority.
Now to get into approvals and all , can we use workflow to achieve this .Is that possible .


Can i also create Apexworkspace in APPS schema directly . Is it recommended.
