Advance custom objects does not show some accounts which had been created some days before

Dear All,
I have made a report based on advance custom object but i am not able to find some records(accounts) which had been created some days before. I tried the same report with the help of activity history and found that  those records which were missing are been populated only when I remove the navigation link. Further on research I found that in advance custom objects there is formulae for navigation link on account name and the account id field being hidden.When I remove this formulae I get the correct results.Is this error due to this navigation link or there may
