Request ends with error : Routine FDPREP cannot read the file

 Hi All,
I'm stuck with an XML Publisher issue that i can't seem to find an answer to. I'm new to this area of work so do mind the obvious

I used BI Publisher for R12 (10.1.3.4.1) to create an SQL based report. This tuns fine in BI Publisher (without any template of course) and provides the desired result. Then i clicked on 'Generate XLIFF' and saved the file to be used when creating the Data Definition in XML Publisher

A concurrent request with output 'XML' was created and a Template and a Data Definition was created in XML Publisher. All three elements carry the identical short code. I attached the XLIFF file i generated to the 'Preview Data' and 'Data Definition' regions as well.
