Solaris 11 Update1 / T4-2 / Sparc LDOM 3.0 NPIV

Hi Experts,


We have requirement to implement 2*T4-2 with below mentioned application /hardware stack.

 Solaris 11 Update1 / T4-2 / HBA (SG-PCIE2FC-EM8-Z ) / Sparc LDOM 3.0 / 11g R2 RAC ASM Cluster between Guest LDOM’s.  Considering EMC VMAX SAN enterprise storage and Brocade 5100 switches

 

We want to utilize NPIV virtual WWNs in Solaris 11.1 for guest domains storage mapping. Our Guest domains  will be also having  Solaris 11.1 (SRU 2.5) operating system. Please advise feasibility and docs references.

 

Does below mention HBA’s are supported for NPIV feature of Solaris 11.1 SRU 2.5 ?

 Does Solaris 11 NPIV is it suggested to deploy in production guest domain systems ?
