Vxvm to zfs Migration of Oracle Raw Devices
Team,
I Have 2 Questions Here
1)
We have a New Project to Migrate the vxvm to zfs all the Veritas File system. We too have many Oracle/Sybase Raw device which is under Veritas Volume.
I am Concerned about the Raw Device Data Copy to Zfs File system. I see the Possible way of doing via dd command, but is that recommended one? do we see any Any data Loss on that?
What is the Best way to migrate Raw device into ZFs file system. Please suggest.
2) Is it Possible to Have Shared Luns Can be Used in ZFS? Like a Clustered File system, is ZFS having any Possible way of doing 2 Nodes having the Shared Luns to write the Files?
