Web Analysis Shortcut Menu

In 11.1.2.2, we have been trying to modify the shortcut menu in EPM Web Analysis, specifically to remove the Refresh icon.  We have created a test user which can open an WA document and have created a WAMenu.xml file and configured WAStudioMenuControl to point to that file.  Without luck.  Has anyone successfully done this?
