We're using a solution of loading accrual transactions (with their associated reversals) as separate transactions with the same expenditure item date but different GL and Expenditure Ending Dates.  We load them using an ADI spreadsheet, they are loaded as Costed transactions but not Accounted.  We load them as follows:

Expenditure Item Date         Expenditure Ending Date            GL Date         Quantity             Raw Cost

02/15/2013                          02/17/2013                                 02/15/2013       100                  100

02/15/2013                          03/31/2013                                 03/30/2013        -100                -100

The first line is in the FEB-13 period, the second reversing line is in the MAR-13 period.  By loading them this way it allows us to capitalize the accrual entry on the first line in FEB-13, and then we'll capitalize the reversing entry and any subsequent accrual entry in MAR-13.

Howdy, Stranger!
