Snapshot gets updated during Sale or Inventory Adjustments but not for other functionalities.

Hi All,

I would like to know, during a Stock Count process, 

why the Snapshot is updated when a Sale transaction or Inventory Adjustment is performed. 

Why the Snapshot is not updated when any Warehouse Delivery, Transfers, Returns or DSD functionality is performed. 

Is there any consideration that Snapshot should be updated only for Sale transactions processed to SIM and Inventory Adjustments? 

Then the snapshot should also be updated for other functionalities also. But this is not happening.

For Example: the item 12345 has SOH of 20. For this item the snapshot is also 20. After the Count process is started, a Warehouse delivery was received for this item for qty 20. Now the SOH for this item is updated to 40. But during count process, The count is taken to be 40. Now what happens to the Stock count process. The snapshot will not be updated. As per the business there should not be any variance. The Shipment will be received and SOH also gets updated. But System takes +20 variance in Stock Count process, and posts
