GL Ledger Name profile is missing after upgrade, any impact!

Hi All,

Please note after upgrade from 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.3, we noticed that the GL Ledger Name profile option is missing. Metalink has provided a fix in note id 1517626.1 to reinstate it.

We have been using R12 test instance for months now and we did not fine a need for a change. Can anyone please advise what would be the implication of non-availability of GL Ledger Name profile option? (GL Ledger id and GF Set of Book Name profile options are available)

Do we need to apply fix as per note id 1517626.1!

Please advise.
