Multiple dependent segments

 Hi,We want multiple dependent segments in oracle asset catagory
namely
Major Category = independent 
Minor Category = dependent on major category
Sub-category  = dependent on minor category
Sub-minor category= = dependent on sub category

Can u please any way in which i can setup this structure as oracle only allows dependency on independent segment...I have explored the table validation type but that becomes to complex for the user to use in future when we leave as consultants...

your input is highly appreciated
