Migrated to R12 - some Legal Entities now have a system generated LE ID - is it okay to change these

We migrated from 11.5.9 to R12.1.3 and would like to know if it is okay to change the legal entity identifiers, the tax registration numbers and EIN numbers?  In 11.5.9 some of the legal entities had the same tax identifiers (EIN) numbers so these legal entities tax registration numbers came over as USSYSXXXX.

R12.1.3 doesn't allow for duplicate tax registration numbers to be assigned to legal entities; so, we know why the migration created system default tax registration numbers.  We just need to know if there are any ramifications for changing these numbers.  The system allows us to make changes to the tax registration number and the US EIN number.

Howdy, Stranger!
