Sending out notification emails for direct debits before settlement date

 

 Hi, 

   A requirement for SEPA is to notify clients three days before direct debits amounts are extracted from their accounts.

Can anybody provide adivse how to do this? 

I know  Create Settlement Batches" request when submitted, optionally kicks off the "Send Receipt Of Payment Notifications" request (IBY_FC_PAYER_NOTIF_FORMAT module).

However, has anybody tried to use/customize this process to send out notifications before settlement date.

In researching possible solutions, I am wondering if I could use/modify an existing R12 XML Publisher report called IBYR_PPN.rtf in conjunction with the above Concurrent program.

Any help appreciated.
