Agile Import for Individual Parts

I'm a newbee and needing some help with importing parts.

We have ~2500 individual parts that are needing to be entered in Agile and it would be wonderful if we could import and have the part number assigned instead of having to enter in all of them.  In looking through the documentation that is available on-line I see that if we are importing BOMs, it appears that Agile will create part numberd for us.  I am unclear whether Agile can create part numbers for individual part imports.  We have version 9.3.2.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
