Item Ledger F4111 and on Hand Quantity not tally

Hi, I've been facing problems with the current on hand quantity being different as compared to the total quantity for the item ledger. Are there any possible causes for this to happen? As I couldn't trace which transactions actually took place which caused the on hand quantity to be lesser. There are no committed quantities for the particular items, but the quantity on hand and available quantity have already been deducted, where the item ledger total quantity is different. Assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
