Disk backup location settings

Hi,
I am trying to set up Oracle-Suggested Backup by Enterprise Manager. Although I changed disk backup location in Backup Setting page flash recovery area is still used for backup. It causes backup jobs to fail due to limited free space in flash recovery area.  What needs to be changed? The version of database is 11.2.0.1.0.
