Is OIE Fully Integrated with Oracle E-Business Tax?
We've upgraded to 12.1.3 in February 2012 and have used migrated tax structure since then. However, with the upcoming changes to Canada taxes (provinces of British Columbia and Prince Edward Island), we were left with no choice but to implement EB Tax since we can't create new taxes and new tax rules in a migrated structure.
I've read several posts in this community about EBTax and iExpense. However, I can't seem to find a definitive answer on how EBTax works with iExpense. I've referenced this document: "Case Study on how EB Tax works with Oracle Internet Expenses" but it didn't work for us. Although the tax code got exported to AP, when we hit 'Calculate Tax' button, it didn't do anything. No tax line is created.
