JDBC Session replication behind F5 monitor creates numerous DB entries
I have 2 managed servers with session replication going to an Oracle database. The servers are set up behind an F5 load balancer that uses a F5 monitor to monitor the server state. This is a get to an html page that does not access the session. However, a new DB entry is created every tim the F5 monitor queries this html page. I know that a session is created in WLS every time a new browser hits the page but Oracle documentation stated that read only access to the sessions do not update the db. All these entries threaten
