Hello Community,  we are users of HSC-VTCS 6.2 VSM5 SL8500  on two separate distinct sysplexes.

Each has its own cds, and its own LSM's separate from the other, its own caps etc.

Our "east" sysplex uses MVC's that all start with the letters M0* (VOLATTR SERIAL(M00000-M02429) MED(STK1R) REC(STK1RDE4)
This sysplex is not very tape-intensive and it has more free mvcs than Doan's has pills: (1035 free mvcs) and will not go through half of that in years.

Our "west" sysplex, on the other hand, uses MVCs that all start with the letters A0* (VOLATTR SERIAL(A00000-A04899) MED(STK1R) REC(STK1RDE4)

Howdy, Stranger!
