system performance duiring RMAN backup.

Hi,

We do RMAN everynight. After R1213 upgraded the data is growing at higher speed. At present we have 410 GB database.

It takes around 4 hrs for RMAN backup. Is that normal? WE are using 4 channels.

The main issue is the system performance goes down when backup is running

Where can I look to resolve the issue.

We are on 11.2.0.2
