We are upgrading our Siebel application from SEA 8.1.1.7 to SIA 8.2.2.
During the UPGREP process at step Prepare for index creation HOR to SIA our biggest like tables S_ORG_EXT and S_CONTACT are flagged as ‘reorg-pending’ during the upgrade. In production due to data volume and number of indexes on these tables, it would take 8 hours to perform the offline reorg and that we can’t afford such a long outage. we need a solution to avoid ‘reorg-pending’ issue.
Please let us know what causes ‘reorg-pending’ and advise any workaround solution.
