How purge AR_CUSTOMER_BALANCE_ITF table

Hello ,

The AR_CUSTOMER_BALANCE_ITF table is an interface table that stores the records that the Customer Open
Balance Letter report.
But the A R_CUSTOMER_BALANCE_ITF has grows, causing serious performance issues.
Can (and how) the data in this table be purged ?
