PAY: Identifying actual pay period information in Payroll for corrected timecards after transferred
Once a corrected timecard has been submitted and loaded into Payroll, how does one determine what pay period the data is applied to ?
Original timecard Pay Period 02-MAR-2013
Corrected timecard entered and paid on 30-MAR-2013 for 01-MAR-2013.
Our original thought is that we could use the DATE_EARNED on PAY_ELEMENT_ENTRIES in the hopes that it would be 01-MAR-2013 so that I can see that although it was Paid during the Pay Period of 30-MAR-2013, it belongs to the Actual Pay Period of 02-MAR-2013 based upon the DATE_EARNED value. However our discovery is that the applicaiton restricts us on the Element Entry screen to keying DATE_EARNED values to a date within the CURRENT pay period (30-MAR-2013).
