Invalid Installed base Instance for the item in the Repair Order

Hi Experts,

We have been getting the following error while receiving back serial numbers in the Capture Serial Numbers form (Quantity > 0) in Depot repair.

APP-CSD-209023: Invalid Installed base Instance for the item in the Repair Order

Extensive search on Knowlege base in MOS did not yeild any meaningful results. Instances for the serial numbers are all active.

Please help.
