Do we need to recreate the standby database if we recreate the controlfile on the primary database

Hi,
We are on 10.2 enterprise edition.
We have a running dataguard environment.
My question:
Do we have to rebuild the standby database if we re_create the controlfile on the primary database ?
Or just recreate the standby controlfile is enough ?
