Inclusive tax causing issue with revenue recognition

 We are facing an issue with revenue recognition if an AR invoice has inclusive tax on it.Example: Invoice Line = $96; Inclusive tax = $4 total invoice amount = $100.

When invoice is created it books credit to deferred revenue for $100.
After releasing post contingency billing, oracle debits deferred revenue for $96 and credits revenue for $96, Leaving $4 as unrecognized revenue.

Has anyone faced similar issue and can provide inputs whether it is an Oracle bug or config issue.
