Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Database authentication for BIP

Question regarding integration of BIP with OEM 12c Release2

The instructions for using database roles for BIP authentication look very similar to the EBS configuration.

I've created and granted the XMLP* roles to OEM user accounts inside my OEM repository database
Configured the Security Model as described in Fusion Middleware Administrator's Guide for Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher Release 11g (11.1.1) Part No. E13880-02 section 5
Bounced the BIP server (but not the WLS Admin Server)

Test results:

User BIP_TESTER has been created in OEM and granted all the XMLP roles, including XMLP_ADMIN, inside the repository database
I can log into BIP publisher with that account but user has no privileges once I get logged in
