Automatic confirmation for partially received ASNs (SIM 13.2.4)

Scenario: Using WH Quick Receive, user receives fewer cartons on the ASN than were shipped. The remaining cartons have ETA of a few days in the future (i.e. held up in transport). To update SIM & RMS inventory, user needs to use client PC to confirm the ASN (which marks flags the delayed containers as "missing").
Is it possible to automate this via batch so that user does not have to do this manually? Assumption is that within a few days of initial receiving, the missing cartons will show up at the destination and will be received using WH Quick Receiving functionality.
