How to remove a LUN without affecting the DB?
We have a 3 nodes 10g RAC DB governed by 11g grid running on Oracle Linux 6.3.
Datafiles, Control files, ..., etc. are stored in SAN (Dell MD3200).
Today when we deleted a LUN on the SAN, it caused all 3 nodes to reboot!!
The error log under grid home said "CRS-1649:An I/O error occured for voting file". However, the LUN we deleted are neither part of the DB nor the grid,
Has anyone encountered this situation before? Please advise. Thanks!
