Stream and open resetlogs

Hi,
i have a big migration next week.
Before starting the migration I stop my downstream and create a copy of my source database, if migration is OK i restart it, but if there's a problem in the migration i will turn back (switch database to copy and open resetlogs).
Does my downstream start correctly after an open restelogs?
