Migration from AIX to Exadata

 Customer plan to migrate the Oracle database from AIX to Exadata X2-2 full rack.But the data capacity of X2-2 full rack is not enough for the db files. 
I wonder if we can take advantage of the storage index to ensure the performance ,  so drop all the index  to release some space .
