Which Kernel is supported for oracle apps 12.1.3 in oel5.8 OS

 Hi Experts,

 Now our applications are running in HP Unix. We are going to migrate our existing R12.1.3 applications
 from Hp unix to OEL5.8. For that previously we have tested in OEL-5.7 OS with 2.6.18-308.el5xen kernel its working fine.
 i have searched some other blogs UEK kernel also available for 5.8 OEL.

i have some questions please clarify.

1. Is there any diff betwen XEN and UEK kernels?

2.For future concern which kernel preferred for R12.1.3 Oracle Apps with 5.8 OEL os?

Please Help.
