Systems Stats after Unsetting DB_MULTIBLOCK_READ_COUNT

Hi,
Currently, our  DB_MULTIBLOCK_READ_COUNT is set to 16 (Oracle 11g), and System Stats collected. We are planning to unset DB_MULTIBLOCK_READ_COUNT value. 
Do we require to collect System Stats (workload) again ?
