USB subsystem events issue affecting ZFS pool on usb disk
I'm posting in this community because I believe it isn't a ZFS issue after all.I plugged in two USB disks, one of them with a ZFS pool I was using for some archiving.
The other had a GPT partition created on Windows that I didn't know if or how it could be used.
Both were corrected listed by "format" and one of them I was using after successfully importing the pool (zpool import -R ...).
The issue happens when unplugging the one I couldn't use.
The temporary ZFS pool from the other disk became unavailable and the underlying USB disk was listed as UNAVAIL.
