perl: fatal: libexpat.so.1: open failed

Since I could not find Database Grid/ASM community, I am submitting this post in Database RAC/Scalability Community.

I have just completed installation of Grid 11.2.0.3 on Solaris 10. This box has other stand-a-lone databases running on it.

My plan is to convert the database to ASM mode.

I have completed the installation of Grid software. After the completion of Gird software installation, I have created the ASM instance. I have also completed the creation of disc groups.

When I am trying to use ASMCMD, I am getting the following error.

oracle@c2r6u01:/export/home/oracle> asmcmd

Can't load '/app/u01/oracle/grid_infra_home/product/11.2.0.3/perl/lib/site_perl/5.10.0/sun4-solaris-thread-multi-64/auto/XML/Parser/Expat/Expat.so' for module XML::Parser::Expat: ld.so.1: perl: fatal: libexpat.so.1: open failed: No such file or directory at /app/u01/oracle/grid_infra_home/product/11.2.0.3/perl/lib/5.10.0/sun4-solaris-thread-multi-64/DynaLoader.pm line 203.
