CIP Assets

Hi All,

I am trying to create a new CIP Asset Category. I feel that when I create an Asset Category for CIP Assets I should have the Capitalized box unchecked because a CIP Asset would never capitalize, But if I do that when I manually add a CIP Asset in the Asset Workbench and choose the newly created Asset Category the Asset Type by default becomes Expensed, which cannot be changed. What is best practice to create an Asset Category for a CIP Asset when I want to make sure that the Asset Type is CIP? Thanks,
