Difference between using function 'Source Requisitions lines against Blanket Purchase Agreements' wh

Difference between using function 'Source Requisitions lines against Blanket Purchase Agreements' when completing award RFQ (outcome: BPA)

When I autocreate a Sourcing RFQ (with a BPA as outcome) from requisitions having the same operating unit, I can use 'Source Requisitions lines against Blanket Purchase Agreements' function when completing the Award.

Which is the difference between using the function and not using?

When complete the award I get a BPA and the requisition is free again in the 'Demand Workbench', is it the intended funcionality?

Please Help.
